What Is Graphic designing?

Graphic designing is the way of expressing your ideas and thoughts using computer software or application.  It involves creativity and systematic planning methods to achieve results, using images, symbols and even words in a specific font.

It can be regarded as an aesthetic expression of ideas and concepts and the visual communication using various elements. The people who are doing the work of such designing are called Graphic Designers.

Graphic designing is becoming extremely popular in the marketing industry, sales of products. Hence these designers are also referred as Communication designers, who work with advertising agencies or firms, with people involved in public relations.

The tasks of a graphic designer include:

  • Meeting the clients to analyse and determine the scope of the project
  • Give suggestion and advises on strategies to reach audiences of all level
  • Determine the message or emotion the design is expected to convey
  • Create images, which exactly bring out the expected emotion or message and identify the product as unique
  • Developing graphics, even visual or audio messages for the product illustrations, websites and logos
  • Usage of appropriate software (photo editing) and digital illustration ways, and software’s to create layouts
  • Use the correct choice of colours, images and layouts to represent the product accurately
  • Check the designs with clients for any revisions or approval
  • Incorporating the revisions and recommended changes and producing the end final product
  • Review the design before it goes for printing.
